The LMSR-SPT-VK dynamic probing device is a highly functional and internationally proven soil investigation unit. Thanks to its foldable mast, it is easy to transport and particularly suitable for operations in confined spaces. The unit is moved manually in the field. The concept of a freestanding mast enables true SPT testing with relatively low equipment investment.
At the test location, the mast is aligned vertically using an adjustment spindle. The integrated tripod base ensures a stable setup on three supports.
The LMSR-SPT-VK can be used for load-bearing capacity tests, compaction testing, and soil sampling. It enables dynamic probing methods in accordance with DPL, DPM, DPH, and SPT standards. Switching between these methods is carried out by adding or removing weights on the hammer unit. In addition, the drop height can be limited by means of a stroke limiter.
Thanks to the tripod base, core penetration tests can also be carried out comfortably. The device is also ideally suited for combined methods such as the split spoon test.
The LMSR-SPT-VK is powered by a combustion engine and can therefore be operated autonomously in the field without the need for additional energy sources. The hammer unit is moved along the mast by means of a winch.
