The LMSR-Vk dynamic probing rig is a versatile soil investigation tool. Thanks to its foldable mast, it is easy to transport and is particularly suitable for use in confined spaces. In the field, the rig is moved manually. At the drilling point, the mast is aligned vertically using an adjustment spindle. To ensure a secure and stable footing, the scope of delivery includes a square timber for the mast base and two base plates for the wheels. The LMSR-Vk can be used for both bearing capacity tests and compaction tests. The device allows for the DPL, DPM, and DPH dynamic penetration testing methods. Switching between these methods is simple by removing or attaching weights to the impact unit. With an optionally available tripod base, core drilling for sample collection is also conveniently possible. The dynamic penetration testing unit is powered by an internal combustion engine. This allows it to be used off-site independently of external power sources. The impact unit is moved along the mast via a cable winch.
