PNEUMATIC DYNAMIC PROBING SYSTEMS

PR 30

LMSR-VK-header.png

The PR30 is a compact pneumatic dynamic probing system for light and medium dynamic probing (DPL and DPM). In its standard configuration, it operates with a 10 kg drop weight. By adding an optional 20 kg additional weight, the total drop mass can be increased to 30 kg, allowing the system to be used for DPM. The drop height is 500 mm. The pneumatic drive ensures a consistent and reproducible probing process. Compressed air can be supplied by either an electric or petrol-driven compressor. Thanks to its compact design and low basic weight, the PR30 is particularly suitable for mobile applications as well as difficult-to-access and confined working areas.

PRODUCT FEATURES

The PR30 is a compact and powerful pneumatic dynamic probing system designed for light and medium dynamic probing (DPL and DPM). The system has been developed specifically for mobile applications and combines compact dimensions and low weight with an automated and reproducible probing process. In its standard configuration, the PR30 operates with a 10 kg drop weight and a drop height of 500 mm and can be used for light dynamic probing (DPL). By adding an additional 20 kg weight, the total drop mass is increased to 30 kg, allowing the system to also be used for medium dynamic probing (DPM). The pneumatic drive continuously lifts the drop weight and enables a consistent operating cycle without the need to raise the weight manually. The defined drop height and drop mass ensure constant energy transfer to the probing rods and provide the basis for reproducible test results. For the required compressed-air supply, the PR30 can be operated with either an electric or petrol-driven compressor. This allows the system to be used both on sites with an available power supply and independently of an external electrical power source. Due to its compact design and low basic weight, the PR30 is particularly suitable for difficult-to-access and confined working areas where larger or self-propelled dynamic probing rigs cannot be used. The system is easy to transport, quick to set up on site and can be combined with the corresponding dynamic probing rods. With its ability to switch between 10 kg and 30 kg drop masses, the PR30 provides a particularly flexible solution for different geotechnical investigations and combines the advantages of a mobile system with an automated and reproducible pneumatic probing process.
