MEASURING DEVICES

APADYN

APADYN® is a modern data acquisition system for dynamic probing, SPT and compaction control. The system automatically records all relevant measurement data during probing and transmits it wirelessly to the GeoBOX®. This allows measurement data to be monitored and documented directly on site and subsequently evaluated.

PRODUCT FEATURES

APADYN® is a professional data acquisition system for the automated recording and documentation of measurement data during dynamic probing, SPT tests and compaction control. The system can be installed on different types of dynamic probing equipment and enables continuous recording of the relevant test parameters throughout the working process.

The measurement data is recorded directly on the dynamic probing rig. Parameters recorded include the number of blows, penetration per blow, target and actual depth, and the location of the test point. In compaction control mode, the corresponding compaction envelope curves can also be recorded and displayed.

The APADYN® system consists of a central acquisition unit installed on the dynamic probing rig, a robust cable reel system with sensors for determining penetration and depth, and the mobile GeoBOX® as the central operating and evaluation unit. Communication between the machine and GeoBOX® is wireless via WIFI, making the acquired data immediately available while the test is being carried out.

GeoBOX® is a robust mobile computer specifically designed for use on construction sites. It is protected against water and dust according to IP67, shock-resistant and, according to the manufacturer, designed to withstand drops from heights of up to 1.80 m. During the test, measurement data and curves can be monitored in real time on GeoBOX®. The results can subsequently be printed or saved to a USB drive. An optional 4G connection also allows the data to be transferred directly to the office.

For compaction control according to NF P 94-063, GeoBOX® displays the penetrogram together with the corresponding limit and reference lines during the test. This allows the test procedure to be monitored immediately. Once the test has been completed, the system evaluates the test point according to the anomaly detection rules defined in the standard. At the same time, information such as the number of blows, depth, number of rods and test point number is displayed.

The test data can subsequently be transferred and processed using GeoVISION®, either via USB or the optional 4G system. APADYN® therefore provides a continuous digital data acquisition process from the actual probing operation on site through to the subsequent evaluation and documentation of the test results.
