PRODUCT FEATURES
The GTR 1100 is a powerful solution for demanding geotechnical drilling and probing operations, specifically designed for maximum stability and performance reserves. As a robust, mobile workstation, it stands out with its high dead weight and exceptionally stable design, enabling smooth, precise, and efficient operation even under difficult ground conditions. Compared to lighter systems, the GTR 1100 offers significantly improved penetration performance and continuous drilling progress.
The machine is designed for the use of a wide range of hammer units and drilling methods, covering applications from dynamic probing to drive core drilling and rotary drilling. For combined methods and drive core drilling, an SPT hammer unit is used, enabling reliable sampling alongside probing. For cased and undisturbed drive core drilling, an AFNOR hammer unit is employed, ensuring safe and controlled sampling, particularly in unstable or non-cohesive soils. Operations are carried out using a mast-guided hydraulic hammer, providing optimal energy transfer and precise guidance of the drill string. The high machine weight significantly enhances penetration performance and ensures increased process stability.
The GTR 1100 also demonstrates its strength in demanding applications such as breaking up hard or compacted rock layers. A powerful core drilling drive is used, delivering reliable results even under challenging conditions. In addition, rotary drilling operations can be performed, allowing flexible adaptation to a wide range of ground conditions and ensuring both precise drilling and the recovery of high-quality core samples for further investigation.
The GTR 1100 stands for maximum performance, high stability, and reliable results – especially where weight, power, and precision are critical.
