PRODUCT FEATURES
The GTR 790 is the all-rounder from our company and one of the world’s best-selling crawler-mounted probing rigs. As a mobile workstation, it significantly enhances the efficiency of your operations and combines the functionality of a comprehensive multitool with intuitive operation as well as easy maintenance and service. Thanks to its compact design, the GTR 790 fits into כמעט any van and can be transported and maneuvered with ease, making it ideal for flexible use on changing job sites.
Its range of applications includes the use of various hammer units and drilling methods for conducting dynamic probing and drive core drilling under a wide variety of geological conditions. For dynamic probing in the DPL, DPM, and DPH classes, a DIN-compliant hammer unit is used to ensure standardized and reproducible determination of soil parameters. In addition, an SPT hammer unit is employed, particularly for combined methods such as DPL-SPT and for drive core drilling, where soil samples are obtained alongside probing.
For cased drive core drilling, an AFNOR-compliant hammer unit is used, enabling safe sampling even in unstable or non-cohesive soils. The drive core drilling operations are carried out using a mast-guided hydraulic hammer, ensuring controlled energy transfer and precise guidance of the drill string. For breaking up hard or compacted stone surfaces, a suitable core drilling drive is used, allowing efficient processing even of hard materials.
Furthermore, rotary and core drilling operations are performed using the DP6T system. This method allows flexible adaptation to varying ground conditions and ensures both precise borehole construction and the recovery of high-quality core samples for further geotechnical investigations.
